In a recent overclocking spree, ElmorLabs successfully overclocked the AMD Threadripper Pro 7995WX processor, pushing it to a remarkable clock speed of 6.0GHz. This feat required a power consumption exceeding 1600W, resulting in an impressive Cinebench R23 score that exceeded 200,000, setting a new record.

The overclocked AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX processor boasts impressive specifications, including 96 cores, 192 threads, a base clock frequency of 2.5GHz, and a maximum boost clock frequency of 5.15GHz. The hardware components used for this overclocking endeavor included:

  • AMD Threadripper Pro 7995WX CPU
  • ASUS Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI motherboard
  • 4 G.Skill Zeta R5 DDR5 R-DIMM memory modules
