AMD has launched a new graphics driver update, version 23.40.02.03, aimed at optimizing performance for the game "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League." This update is a preview driver and extends the capabilities of the previously released Radeon Software Adrenalin 24.1.1 WHQL. In addition to game optimization, the update addresses a specific issue where the game displayed corruption when ray tracing was enabled.

The release also highlights several known issues that have been identified, including prolonged game loading times for "Deathloop" on systems equipped with Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards, an application crash in "Dead Space" when ray-traced ambient occlusion is activated, and initial game stuttering in "Overwatch 2." Other noted concerns involve intermittent audio-video sync issues during recordings with the AV1 codec in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, a green tint display on Oculus Rift S when used with Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs, crashes in the Parsec host application after system reboots on certain AMD Graphics Products like the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, and intermittent looping footage during Microsoft Teams meetings on devices such as the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U Processor.
