Recent analyses of AMD's shipping records, conducted by hardware investigator Harukze5179 and shared on Twitter, have revealed codenames associated with AMD's Navi 31, 32, and 33 GPUs, collectively referred to as "AMD Cuarzo." This information is noteworthy due to the non-disclosure of certain GPUs in this series. The records specifically highlight two entries under the "AMD Navi 32/Cuarzo Verde" category, labeled as "Cuarzo Verde Mobile." The Navi 32 GPU is currently utilized in desktop graphics cards, including models such as the Radeon Pro W7700, RX 7700, 7700 XT, and RX 7800 XT. The notable absence of a non-XT variant in the RX 7800 series suggests the potential introduction of such a model, with Navi 32 as the likely candidate.

Navi 32 GPUs are primarily designed for high-end 1080p and entry-level 1440p gaming, demonstrating significant rasterization capabilities. Comparatively, the RX 7800 XT surpasses Nvidia's RTX 4070 in certain aspects, positioning Navi 32 GPUs as viable choices for mid-range gaming setups, particularly with optimized settings.

The shipping records also disclose a mobile variant of the "Cuarzo Verde (Navi 32)" GPU, a notable finding since no Navi 32 GPUs are currently integrated into laptop offerings. This discovery leads to speculation about an upcoming RX 7800M model, aligning with AMD's strategy to strengthen its presence in the laptop graphics market. Considering existing models like the RX 7600M, 7700S, and 7900M, the introduction of an RX 7800M or 7700M would logically address gaps in the current lineup.

While most discussions lean towards the RX 7800M as the forthcoming laptop GPU, the potential for a 7700M variant remains a point of interest. Previous conjectures suggested the possibility of both RX 7800M and 7700M models, with the latter serving as a strong option for competitively priced AMD-powered laptops.
