Twitter user @KittyYukko shared images of what appears to be an unreleased Founders Edition graphics processing unit (GPU) from NVIDIA. The pictures showcase a reference PCB on custom RTX 4070 Ti GPUs, which is believed to have been known as the RTX 4080 12GB in the past.

There was an FE edition after all? This particular model has not been released in the reference design, at least not with a cooling solution, and the Founders Edition version never hit store shelves. However, the shared photos suggest that NVIDIA may have considered launching a Founders Edition at some point, as the model has a reference cooler with two fans. It's worth noting that the PCB design is similar to what can already be found on some semi-custom RTX 4070 Ti cards, like those from Inno3D or PNY, but the C-shaped cut on the card is unique. The RTX 4070 Ti was released in January, and the probability of NVIDIA releasing a Founders Edition version now appears to be very low. Nevertheless, the images show that the company had considered such an option at some point before ultimately deciding to stick to partner design only.
