Alienware has introduced the AW2524HF gaming display featuring a 24.5-inch IPS panel. Priced at $649.99 USD, it will be available globally on September 12th.

The display's key specification includes a 500Hz refresh rate when overclocked via DP, with a native rate of 480Hz using DP. The panel provides a peak brightness of 400 cd/m² and a 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time. Additionally, it supports HDR10 technology and reproduces 99% of the sRGB color spectrum, allowing for HDR content viewing.

For enhanced gaming performance, the display integrates AMD FreeSync Premium technology and has received VESA AdaptiveSync certification. These features work together to mitigate screen tearing and stutter, especially in high-paced gaming situations. The display's 0.5ms response time reduces motion blur and ghosting, ensuring clear visuals during gameplay.

From a design perspective, the AW2524HF incorporates a retractable headset holder and a hexagonal stand with height markers, facilitating a tailored user setup. As for connectivity options, it comprises 2 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 HDMI 2.1, and 5 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. The display offers a 178-degree viewing angle both vertically and horizontally and supports tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. Additionally, a built-in cable management system promotes a neat arrangement. Pricing seems to sit slightly north of 600 USD.
