The Yeston GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER SAKURA Sugar model that we review today opts for a more flamboyant design with its RGB lighting and acrylic shroud, which allows visibility into the card's interior. Decorated with SAKURA motifs and illuminated by pink, blue, and purple lights, this variant also features a white PCB. It maintains a dual-slot form factor and utilizes the 12V-2x6 power connector for operation. The national flower of Japan, the cherry blossom – or Sakura, represents a time of renewal and optimism. The pops of pink mark the ending of winter and signify the beginning of spring. Due to their quick blooming season, cherry blossoms also symbolize the transience of life, a major theme in Buddhism. Equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6X video memory, handy for managing high-resolution textures and rendering complex scenes. It features a 256-bit memory bus and offers a peak memory bandwidth of 23 GB/s, positioning it as the NVIDIA RTX 40 series card with the most rapid memory clock, trailing only behind the RTX 4090 that utilizes a broader 384-bit memory bus.
We do not have a final price for the card but MSRP it certainly won't be, this graphics card offers a bit more value and performance, it runs nearly reference aside from an increase (2640 MHz) on the boost frequency. This card distinguishes itself with an increased number of shader processors, resulting in slightly enhanced performance. Notably, the 4080 SUPER is priced lower than the standard 4080 model, retailing at $999. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, a high-performance graphics card, was introduced on January 8th, 2024. This card, developed with a 5 nm manufacturing process, utilizes the AD103 graphics processor, particularly the AD103-400-A1 variant. The GPU supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, enabling compatibility with contemporary and future gaming titles, including features like hardware-raytracing and variable-rate shading. The AD103 chip features a die area of 379 mm² and contains 45.9 billion transistors. Its architecture includes 10240 shading units, 320 texture mapping units, and 112 ROPs. The card integrates 320 tensor cores, which are instrumental in optimizing machine learning performance, along with 80 raytracing acceleration cores. Equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6X memory over a 256-bit memory interface, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER operates at a base frequency of 2295 MHz, boosting up to 2550 MHz. The memory clocks in at 1438 MHz, yielding an effective 23 Gbps.

A notable feature of the Yeston RTX 4080 Sakura is its unique shroud design, inspired by anime aesthetics, showcasing a vivid color scheme and elaborate details, including sakura blossom motifs. This design not only adds visual interest but also illustrates Yeston's commitment to integrating artistic elements with technological innovation. The cooling solution, referred to as "Sugar", incorporates upgraded components, including 10cm cooling fans, which are larger than those used in the previous generation. This model introduces an advancement with eight copper heatpipes to enhance its cooling efficiency. The shroud employs a technology known as in-mold injection molding, ensuring the high-quality presentation of its vibrant graphics. The product is presented in elaborate packaging, adorned with pink ribbons, and includes a comic book, available exclusively in Chinese. It also comes equipped with a power adapter, transitioning from a 3×8-pin configuration to a single 12VHWPR (16-pin) connector, facilitating its power supply requirements. The card has been strengthened significantly to prevent sagging. The manufacturer increased both the power consumption limit and turbo frequency. This card's 2640 MHz boost clock speed, an increased power limiter and frequency make this among the fastest products. Effectively, the memory operates at a rate of 23 Gbps. With these specifications and other high-end components in mind, it would be ideal for pairing this graphics card with a power supply of at least 750 watts. Let us get this review going, shall we? At the time of writing Yeston did not share the SRP, but realistically we feel this product can't be too far away from FE pricing, and even expect $999
