Introduction

We’re checking out the Thermaltake CTE TG C750 ARGB, and it’s the first time in a long time that we have had a chance to look at this manufacturer’s product.

It’s not another Lian Li O11D clone, so that’s already a plus for the start (from the reviewer’s point of view). What’s special about the Thermaltake CTE C750 ARGB? CTE means “Centralized Thermal Efficiency”. The design utilizes a 90-degree rotation of the motherboard, providing more efficient airflow pathways. Since the CPU location moved closer to the front panel and the graphics card moved closer to the rear panel, independent cold air induction should be given for thermal dissipation of the CPU and graphics card, respectively. This approach should allow CTE to provide better and more efficient intake airflow by placing main components and cooling and optimizing heat extraction from the system. In the bundle, you get three 140 mm fans, but in total, you can fit fourteen fans (120/140 mm variant).

There are two color versions:

  • Black (the one reviewed)
  • White

Additionally, it’s possible to get the CTE C750 Air variant, which doesn’t have the TG panel on the front and lacks the RGB fans (but that can be an advantage for some users). There’s also a smaller T500 variant for those who don’t have the need/space for the reviewed model.

It’s a mid-tower chassis with around 110.7 l of volume, so that’s the range of a full-tower chassis. The exact dimensions are 565.2 × 327 × 599.2 (L×W×H) in total. The CTE C750 TG ARGB supports E-ATX (ATX, uATX, and mini-ITX) motherboards.According to the specs, there are up to seven 3.5” or twelve 2.5” drive brackets. On the front, you will find the following ports:

  • USB 3.0 x 4,
  • USB 3.2 Type-C x 1
  • Audio Jack
  • Mic Jack
  • Power button

The Thermaltake CTE C750 TG ARGB provides many cooling options, supporting radiators,

  • Front: 360 mm / 420 mm (for AIO)
  • Side: 360 mm / 420 mm (for AIO)
  • Top: up to 240 mm
  • Bottom: 360 mm / 280 mm
  • Rear: 360 mm / 420 mm (for AIO).

It’s possible to mount the following fans:

  • Front: 3x 120/140 mm or 2x 200 mm (1x CT140 ARGB, 1500 rpm pre-installed)
  • Side: 3x 120/2x 140 mm
  • Top: 2x 120 mm/2 x 140 mm (1x CT140 ARGB, 1500 rpm pre-installed)
  • Bottom: 3x 120/140 mm
  • Rear: 3x 120/140 mm or 2x 200 mm (1x CT140 ARGB, 1500 rpm pre-installed)

You also get seven expansion slots. You can use CPU air coolers with a max height of 190 mm (enough to fit practically all models). The GPUs can measure up to 370 mm long (or( 420 mm without the bottom radiator). The PSU shouldn’t be longer than 220 mm long (and that’s still a lot). The MSRP is 199.99 USD. Will it be worth that price? First - let’s check out the specs and features of this chassis..
