We tested the memory both with the default XMP profile (3200 MHz) as well as overclocked/tweaked to 3900 MHz. The 3200 MHz scores are in the 46~48 GB/s range, which is very nice.

The reviewed memory kit is rated at 3200 MHz when you set the XMP in the BIOS. But what if you’d want to achieve more? I’ve checked it by setting the voltage up to 1.4 V, and then gradually increased the frequency until I got any signs of instability. For us, 3900 MHz with CL17 was possible and gave the best result (4133 MHz was within reach with CL 19, but the performance was lower). That’s a very noticeable increase in frequency, mainly owing to Samsung’s B-Die memory chips.

Here we have 49 GB/s, and up to even 55 GB/s. There is no more powerful model in the series, so achieving 3900 MHz at CL17 makes a really good impression. You can get there without much effort (but it depends on many variables, like the motherboard, bios version, or memory chip series).
