All blue'ish, the T5. The product is priced at give or take at a sub-179 EUR for a 500 GB model. Have a peek at some product shoot photo's.

Here we go, the USB 3.1 Samsung T5, we received the 500 GB model. The internal SSD that Samsung houses TLC based stacked Vertical Nand, it really is an SSD in a portable box.  It's average power usage is under 2 Watts hence it will not need an external power source. The device will power itself completely from the USB connector.

The storage device is rated at a proper 540 MB/sec for reads and writes (sustained) over USB 3.1 Gen 1 or 2 (Windows 10 recommended for the fastest transfer numbers), and that is comparable with modern age SSD and NAND Flash storage, for our purposes it'll do just fine alright ! Included are a small manual, USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 Type-C cable. It's all you need really. The design of unit is slim -- 10.5mm thickness my man, that isn't a lot for a portable SSD storage unit, you can slip it into your jacket easily as it's length is only 7 CM.

The storage unit in fact shares an SSD NAND partition to the USB 3.1 Host controller.  This 10 Gbps bandwidth capable storage unit makes use of Samsung's own 3D-V-NAND. 64-layer NAND flash memory ICs can be spotted on the PCB. The NAND FLASH partitions are assigned directly to the controller. As stated, the NAND used is the latest iteration of 3D V-NAND in architecture where memory cells are stacked and this way they can put more of them in a chip.  An interesting fact is that the power consumption of the Samsung SSD is low with an IDLE rating of 2 mWatts and roughly ~2 Watts when active.

The unit has a size of  (W x H x D): 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 mm, with a weight of 51 grams only. This puppy is shock resistant up to 1500G/0.5ms and features Dynamic Thermal Guard, which will activate in extreme temperature conditions to protect the drive and any stored data. This thing is small alright.

The Samsung Portable SSD T5 is easy to set up and protect, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that their original work will not fall into the wrong hands or get lost. With just one password, the drive is safe from unwanted access protected by a AES 256-bit hardware encryption. You receive a three year carry-in warranty with the Samsung T5.
