SSD Performance HD Tune PRO (IOPS)

HD Tune Pro (IOPS)

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk utility and benchmarking utility for Windows. This tiny application allows you to scan your hard drives for errors or take a deeper look at several performance figures coming from the storage unit, we focus at IOPS perf. IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second, pronounced eye-ops) is a performance measurement used to characterize computer storage devices like hard disk drives (HDD), solid state drives (SSD), and storage area networks (SAN). IOPS numbers published by storage device manufacturers do not relate to real-world application performance, it does however create a metric of how many operations per second the storage unit is capable of.

The number above are gorgeous really. Below also a generic test run with the File Benchmark test, especially handy to quickly check out sequential performance and block size measurements.
