Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT, and 6900 all have been fitted with 16 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory; it runs at 16 Gbps (effective data rate), which is a data rate most of us can identify with when compared to the last-gen products. The cooling design is based on a strong cooler holding three fans. The cards all get HDMI 2.1 connectors and the latest iteration in DisplayPort. AMD does not yet adapt the new 12-pin power connecter header introduced by NVIDIA; the cards will hold 3x 8-pin headers; configuration depends on AIC/AIB choices as partner cards are free to choose to use whatever they deem applicable. No more USB type-C VirtualLink connector, as that one is going the way of the dodo. The card has three fans and uses the traditional power connector design, e.g., 8-pin, but thus three of them. The card has a nice stylish-looking shroud underneath it that muscular cooler. The design has some premium features a three fan cooler series. It weighs in at 1.576 kg, that's not bad. Despite that, you can make use of a sturdy mount (included). That said, we test out of the box configuration of a card, set to performance mode. Of course, we'll list thermals and acoustics for both modes in our tests.
