DX9: Hard Reset
DX9: Hard Reset
Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance.
As you can see, the 7800 series are cards that perform beautiful at 1920x1080. These really are the perfect 1920x1080/1200 cards as you will learn over the next few pages.
We included an R7950 and the 399 USD GeForce GTX 670 as well. With the R7870 TwinFrozer III priced at 349.99 after mail-in rebate on Newegg we felt the GTX 670 was a proper choice to include for comparison purposes.
Very few other results for now, we recently inserted this benchmark.
