Next, to WIFI performance, the new trend is faster Ethernet. In the coming years, we'll slowly transition from 1 Gigabit towards 10 Gigabit connections, with 2.5 and 5 Gbps available as well. We have invested in a 10 Gigabit infrastructure to test with. We start with a 1 Gigabit uplink and then hook into 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps to scientifically measure the throughput.
We had initial perf issues with the Microsoft standard Realtek driver for 2.5 GigE, after updating o the driver on the MSI website, the performance normalized as you can see above.
