SSD Operating Temperatures
We monitor the SSD temperature during our test benchmarks stress tests with a high-stress workload. The peak stress temperature is listed below, we test as-is, meaning if a heatsink is installed, we'll show the value based on that.
Above the temperatures reported from the sensors, this is with the heatsink installed. Temp1+2 are NAND and the controller reports back at sensor 3. How different the temps are from thermal imaging? At the lower side a FLIR image with (1) and without (2) the heatsink installed.
