At GPU level, everything is ready for both standards. This card is also Full HD compliant including HDCP protection. The connectors are protected with little plastic blue caps btw.
Hardly noticeable, but behind the small plastic cap to the right is a SPDIF input. Basically you can lead an SPDIF wire from your soundcard or mainboard towards the GeForce card and then output sound through HDMI. It's a bit messy and more of a patch rather than a solution. The GeForce GTX 260 needs to be connected to both a 6-pin power supply connectors. Your power supply should rate a minimum of 500 Watts.
One more photo, full frontal. The last photo before we close down the PC, and startup our benchmark session.
