The GTS is HDCP capable, the 8500/8600 GT are not unless the board partner decides to include a crypto chip.

Single slot heatsink fan. Not at all noisy. As you can see, you'll need to connect the card to a PSU with the help of a 6-pin power connector. Guru3D recommends 350 Watts for one card, and 450 in SLI as minimum.
