The Geekom Mini IT12, supplied with multiple peripherals, exhibits a compact design, measuring 5 cm in height, 11.5 cm in width, and 11 cm in depth, including its rubberized feet. Although its design parallels the Mini IT11, the newer model carries a slightly increased weight of 90 grams, resulting in improved stability without compromising on portability. A difference between the models is the placement of the USB4 ports (Type C), which, in the Mini IT12, are located on the rear.

This change might have been aimed at achieving a cleaner front panel design, but it could potentially limit the accessibility of Type C and USB ports that the predecessor model offered. Despite this, the Mini IT12 still supports three USB3 Gen 3.2 ports and a single USB 2.0 port. Weighing in at 575 grams, sans cables, the Mini IT12 offers acceptable weight within its class.

The Mini IT12 showcases a superior build quality with a distinctive blue-silver anodized finish. Packaging parallels that of the Mini IT11, featuring a foam-cushioned interior to secure the Mini PC, with accessories placed below.

Despite the Mini IT12 housing the Intel Core i7-1260P processor, which has the capability to support HDMI 2.1a, DisplayPort 1.4a, and DDR5 memory, these features have been excluded from this model. The absence of these capabilities, particularly considering the affordability of memory, was clarified as a cost-saving strategy
