GALAX has made slight modifications to the clock speeds of their GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EX Gamer model, deviating from Nvidia's standard specifications. It should be noted that Nvidia does not offer a Founders Edition of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. While the base clock of the GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER EX Gamer remains the same as Nvidia's, the boost clock has been increased marginally towards 2640 MHz. However, in real-world usage scenarios, this marginal difference in clock speeds does not significantly impact the performance of the GPU (that's a 3% faster boost frequency). The manufacturer has included a GPU bracket with the card to ensure proper support during installation.

The card features a ventilated backplate and maintains a compact size with a length of approximately 32 cm. Weighing around 1400 grams, it is on the heavier side. Its efficient cooling is attributed to a sleek, dark shroud that covers the heat sink array, ensuring effective temperature regulation. This aspect is further explored in the following section.

For installation, the card occupies three slots in a computer system. In terms of connectivity, the RTX 4000 series includes HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. These ports enable 8K 60 Hz HDR output through a single HDMI cable, despite the absence of the DP 2.1 standard.

The card's I/O panel comprises an air vent, connectors, and an aluminium fin stack within an alloy frame. The bulk of the cooling system's volume is occupied by the fin stack. The airflow mechanism involves one fan drawing air in and expelling it from the sides of the card, while another fan directs air through the fin stack and outwards.

For power management, the cards feature a 12VHPWR power connector header, complemented by a converter cable linked to 8-pin connectors. The product package includes relevant documentation and an adapter for converting 8-pin PCIe power inputs to a 12-pin power connector. Users are advised to maintain a 3-4cm clearance from the plastic connector and to avoid bending the cable near it for safe functionality.

This model does feature RGB lighting and maintains an appealing appearance with its all-dark design. The latest models in the series are engineered for superior cooling and enhanced stability, featuring a protection Plate and a Metal Backplate with strategically placed cut-outs.
