ECS motherboard review

Here we have the Phenom II X3 720BE in combo with the ECS 790GXM-AD3 all at default clock frequency. At this stage power management was disabled, otherwise CPU-Z would have shown a clocked down processor at 2000 MHz or something. Bear in mind that CPU-Z needs an update to recognize the AM3 CPU socket.

Even more handy, you can verify your memory frequency and timings. Let's see. Our memory is at 1333 MHz (dual-channel) and we have nice CAS 7:7:7:20 1T timings. We should get some pretty decent memory bandwidth. We'll measure it in our benchmark sessions.
