Product showcase – the build
You do not need to do the 2.5” drives installation before putting it in the motherboard (like before in CG560, when using something bigger than the ITX standard). That’s a massive improvement.
Routing the cables at the back of the motherboard tray wasn’t very difficult, as there’s about 20 mm of space for that.
Theoretically, you can install the E-ATX motherboard here, but it would block the cable grommets. The front provides space for radiators up to 360 mm; the top is up to 360 mm (but I don’t think all AIOs would fit, as the EPS cable will block it). We installed our old/trustworthy NZXT Kraken X62 (280 mm LCS) at the top to not remove the three pre-installed 120 mm fans at the front.
The inside is very flexible in terms of the installation process. It’s possible to remove the 3.5” bays if you want to fully. Speaking of them, you do not need to flip the whole chassis around and take out the entire tray to install the drives, like it used to be. This time it’s held in place by a thumbscrew. Also – the cage itself is more refined, and it’s easier to mount two drives there than it was in the CG560.
