Introduction

Corsair Nightsabre Wireless mouse

This article reviews the Corsair Night Sabre Wireless mouse. It is aimed mainly at gamers; it should be fine for MOBA, Battle Royale, and others, thanks to the sturdy, symmetrical shape and the other features we’ll cover below. Overall the specs are very similar to the recently reviewed (June 23) Corsair Darkstar Wireless, which was typically MMO games oriented. But returning to the Night Sabre Wireless - the optical sensor is Corsair Marksman, with a sensitivity of 26,000 DPI with 1 DPI resolution step. The value of IPS is 650, with up to 50G acceleration, and the polling rate is up to 2000 Hz (using hyper-polling). The wireless connection is possible via:

  • Hyper-fast, sub-1ms 2.4GHz SLIPSTREAM Corsair WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY,
  • Bluetooth 4.2 + LE

The Night Sabre Wireless has 11 programmable buttons, including a scroll wheel tilt, enabling you to customize how you play with macros or button remaps. There is also a dynamic seven-zone RGB backlighting available. The mouse feet are made of 100% PTFE for ultra-low-friction and smoothest glide (and are easily replaceable). The reviewed mouse has a built-in battery, which should achieve 100 hours of battery life without backlighting and using Bluetooth. With a 2.4 GHz Slipstream, it should last up to 65 hours. The mouse is charged using the included (1.8 m) USB cable, 15 minutes of recharging keeps you in the game for 20 hours. You can fine-tune your mouse settings in Corsair iCUE, with RGB customization/synchronization, DPI adjustment, and button remaps conveniently saved on up to five onboard profiles.

Night Sabre is equipped with spring-loaded CORSAIR QUICKSTRIKE Buttons, which deliver zero gaps between the primary buttons and their instantaneous optical switches, so your shots and clicks should be quicker than ever. The dimensions are 129.41(L) x 63(W) x 40.41(H) mm / 5.09”(L) x 2.48”(W) x 1.59”(H) . The weight is 99g / 0.22 lbs. The Corsair Night Sabre Wireless is available at $169.99/€169.99. The warranty is two years, so that’s pretty standard. Is this product worth its price, given the provided features and functionality? Let’s find out.
