Corsair has also provided us with the MM300 Pro Extended mousepad for this review. It measures 930 x 300 x 3 mm, and there is also a medium version. The MM300 PRO offers two innovations:

  • a spill-proof, stain-resistant coating that protects against accidents
  • a micro-woven fabric that creates a dense surface for ultra-fast, smooth mouse movements.

The MM300 Pro is finished with 360° precision-stitched, anti-fray edges to guard against surface peeling and an anti-skid 3mm-thick rubber base to remain firmly in place. The MM300 Pro should survive even the toughest plays and has enough durability to last years. The MM300’s packaging is the most typical design you can think of (yellow-black colour), consisting of a flexible cardboard box that’s 300mm long (equal to the width of the mat). It is normal to find a mat of this size fully rolled up. The product is made of flexible materials, so it can be folded and unfolded safely.

The box has a small window at one end, which lets consumers check the texture of the product before buying it. There aren’t any additional accessories inside, so you get a mousepad in a box, and that’s it.

The mat is about 3 mm thick, the MM350 Pro version (which has more depth) is 4 mm thick, and that would have been better here as well. The surface is spill-proof and stain-resistant, and it’s made of Micro-Weave Fabric, which creates a dense surface for a faster and smoother glide.

The anti-skid textured rubber base keeps the mouse pad securely in place.

We can attest that the Corsair MM300 Pro is a mouse pad that meets all expectations. We didn’t have a problem with this product, and there isn’t a word of complaint to be said about the workmanship. The fabric surface doesn’t have any flaws or blemishes, and if you run a finger from side to side, it feels perfectly uniform. We have tested the MM300 Pro with a couple of high-performance mice, and none displayed any signs of pixel skipping.
