The front panel features a rather rich utility / IO panel on the top that includes USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C x 1, USB 3.0 x 4, Fan Speed & RGB control buttons, Audio In & Out (supports HD Audio).

The IO panel is exposed, some like that others do not, the older models, for example, had a latch to cover up a thing or two. I am fine with this but also realize that dust can be collected in the USB ports in this specific angle. There actually is a fully fledged fan controller available, several RPM modes. We'll discuss the fan noise a bit later on as on the LOW mode you can still hear the chassis (slightly).

As stated, on the previous page, everything about this chassis is different once it is powered on. Also, the front bezel is reflecting off a black wall here, but trust me when I say, it's the same product! Ergo I quickly inserted the photo above with the RGB system active. Doesn't that look completely different now? I like what CM did with the logo, removing the text, That is much more subtle, right? The RGB system has been updated towards full ARGB (Addressable) You can connect it to a LED strip connector on your motherboard to control with ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte software. But a regular controller is on board as well. You can have the LED system cycle through the primary colors, or set it static to one color. We'll show you that in the final build photos though.

The top side now has an aluminum cover with huge mesh as underneath you can locate fans or liquid cooling rads, the upper side can be removed.

Just grab the back side and pull it upwards and you can access the fans/radiator or whatever you'd like to do there. Very handy.
