Upon unboxing the product, you'll find it neatly packaged in black and red packaging. The box prominently displays the product, making it easily recognizable and verifiable in stores.

As you open the box, you'll notice the product is well-protected. The chances of damage are minimal since the NAS is securely cushioned between two large cartoon blocks and enclosed in a bag. Additionally, the included accessories, such as the power brick and LAN cable , are housed in a separate carton. It's worth noting that Asustor continues to utilize external power bricks, which I personally appreciate. I have been using Asustor NAS servers at my workplace for years, operating them 24/7. The availability of easily replaceable power bricks provides reassurance that in the unlikely event of a failure (which, to be honest, has never happened), I can quickly swap it out and restart the NAS device. This convenience makes Asustor my preferred option.

Contrary to expectations, the box size of the Intel N5105 quad-core NAS is larger than one might anticipate. This becomes evident when you see the sole USB 3 port on the front, giving an indication of its size.

Moving to the rear, we find a dual set of features. One set includes the standard NAS ports such as dual 2.5GbE ports and power connections, while the other set includes features like HDMI and S/PDIF that are more commonly associated with desktops.

The bottom cover can be easily removed using four screws. A notable feature is the tool-less carriers for installing M.2 drives, offering convenience and ease of use.
