Same design in that tool.
Stop buying from Zotac. 😀

As pointed out, the memory clockspeed is interesting. 11.3Ghz. I'm surprised it can clock that high considering there were rumors that Micron was having trouble even hitting 10ghz.

It started with the "PrecisionX" and now it continues with the "Firestorm" .Who knows if it'll ever stop? Another proof that Alesksey has programmed the best GPU OC Tool on the globe.

I hope the 1070 also comes with that backplate, looks sick!

A shame for the copy paste of our beloved MSI AB, I freaking love this tool and would keep on using it even if I wouldn't have a MSI card anymore. As for the ZOTAC 1080s though... holy **** they look nice, and those clocks wtf, I doubt this will be powered only by a single 8-pin tbh.

Hopefully this Firestorm supports my voltage chip better, current Firestorm sux, MSI AB also doesnt support it properly. And Unwinder doesnt seem to want to add it to unsupported custom list or idk..
I have no clue how to make that custom list profile and read those HEX numbers :P 🤓

Zotac is a brand that continues to impress me. I think I'll go Zotac again this time when I buy the GTX 1080 🙂

Great review thanks.. but I like the KIND OF.. you can say that about almost EVERYTHING being made. I'll take anything over MSI... thats just me..
Yet as I look back and search.. seems this is not said about OTHER company's....hmm why is that

Sick! I was wondering where Zotac's offerings were! Having owned my first ever Zotac (the 970) I'll be sticking with them for the foreseeable future. Ultra reliable. plenty of BIOS updates, custom cooler fan kicks in at 60 degrees and above.

I appreciate why many like the interface design of MSI Afterburner, it is quite good. But me being an old fart find the design a bit too busy and therefore hard to read. I generally chose a more simple skin for my Afterburner installation. Having said that, I really do like that Zotac design.

Those cards look great. Hope we get to see something similar for RED team cards later.

MSI should patent those round corners.
