One constructive critic.
Compare it to more relevant cards like direct competition from red an green team...like other 970 cards and few 390 390x cards...
And there is no temperatures of the OC card...

Zotac GTX 970 AMP! Extreme is probably best seller 970 in my country (Thailand). High clock from factory combine with cheap price and 5 years warranty is really appealing.

Just finished yesterday a friends rig with a 5820K/G.Skill 16GB 3200 and the "normal" ZOTAT 970 AMP! Edition and that card is really great.
Was hitting the TDP hard playing Far Cry 4 which resulted in lower clocks(1500-15015) but in Valley was doing 1560-1580@1.25v.
After upping the TDP @225w in the vbios, its @1580MHz rock solid while playing FC4 and 1599MHz running Valley.
All while staying below 55-60'C. I'm only guessing the ZOTAC 970 AMP! Extreme must be a hell of a card.

This article pretty much proves what I've been saying for quite a while now, thanks Hilbert. I really wanted to see a contemporary 970 review.
What I've been saying being that the ONLY reason to buy a 390 instead of a 970 is the larger amount of VRAM. Every time I've said this I would get weird looks. Custom 970s boost quite high compared to stock ones, and especially compared to 390s. Instead, half of reddit claims the 390 is a far better card in terms of performance - except most reviews compare to reference 970s.
Pretty much all the proof I wanted to see.

I actually bought this very graphic card which arrived today, just stuck it into my machine a couple of hours ago.
Trippy!

Funny to not see 390s in the review, the direct competitor of the 970.

GTX 970 at 1,5 GHz is almost another card than the reference GTX 970. My card does at least 1,5 GHz with stock volts so temp and noise are just fine. It's not even close the power limit (which is really high on this particular card without any modifications).
