We should make our own GPUs, with beer and... you know the rest.
I understand why Zotac does what it does, and it doesnโt surprise me. All I can do is respond in kind and never buy another Zotac product. And I never will.
If one has been following a bot on Discord (there are several) to alert one about new stock, Zotac has been pumping out cards even more so than EVGA. Their store is setup to filter buying bots. Their method works. If they are so popular for mining, how on earth was I able to snag two 3070s? Best Buy and AMD direct are the only ones that actually are putting cards and cpus in gamer's hands. Amazon and the like are full of scalpers. Whenever stock appears on Amazon, it has been a joke. One cannot checkout fast enough before your cart becomes magically empty. So this outrage is from lazy individuals not putting any effort into obtaining cards for themselves. So much easier to just complain about a mindless tweet. The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Plus all their cards are considered middle of the road performance wise when compared to the founder's edition. Mob mentality at its best.

Ohh it's so simple, who would have tought that u just need to keep pressing F5 24\7 and eventually you will get it...
This is not normal! It should not be like this. When card maker's start building their own mining rigs, miners buys huge supply of gpu, there wont be any left for us gamers for sure.
Surprised they even bothered/dared for the hashtag Zotac"Gaming".... I think it's amatter of time until we all have to pay a markup on these cards even sporting something unneccessary and costly as video outputs....
Honestly, they could save as much as 20-80 bucks per card by ditching HDMI, DP ports and transceivers plus the neccesary licenses and rather equip tthem with NVLink for memory pooling.
People suddenly woke up and grab their pitchforks...
I will leave this here... just to have more variety-brand-hating...
25-7-2018 I guess nobodys problem back then so yea we play fools...
But now? Now if you say "mining" out in public someone will kill you with his old 760.
I really am wondering if people are actually worried about economy and how this meta ruins it
OR do they only care about their wallets and the fact they are inable to get their hands on the
product they need in reasonable prices. Anyways I hope this "mining" nonesense ends soon
and nones get hurt (neither their wallets).

Like I said, signed up with a bot on Discord to alert me when new stock is available. Did not need to hit F5 24/7. Patience is all it takes. Snagged both 3070s on same night. Snagged one. Posted to friends that managed to actually get one. Then decided to try for the other one that was in the alert prior to the one I had just snagged. Managed to get that one as well. So it is just a matter of timing and a little bit of luck. Got both 5800Xs same way, same bot on Discord. Snagged one from AMD directly and the other a week later from Best Buy. It is very doable. Just takes patience and dedication to achieving it. Now son and I have our rigs upgraded.
Amd that is textbook example of how you do PR suicide... I mean sure, short term it is very profitable to embrace miners, but long term, once mining inevitably crashes, they will be left at mercy of the gamers who actually are loyal customers here. Miners come and with crash they go. And even nVidia knows better than to piss all over gamers with Tweets like this. But then again, a lot of corporations will put short term gains before better long term benefits.
