I wonder about the price. I bought 1070 Mini for $450 in Eastern Europe (I think it can be found now for as low as 400 in amazon, or via deals) and I overclocked to 2050 core without hitting above 75 degrees. Will the Ti be worth the extra buck?

Not with your current card, no point upgrading to a GTX 1070ti from a GTX 1070. Of course if money or value is no barrier, then why not get one, but if that was the case you may as well have a GTX 1080ti in sli or something!

Instead of trying to shrink cards like this I'd rather they work on getting them back to a single slot cooler again. What was the last semi high end card with a single slot cooler? 8800GT?
