Well, 300W is quite impressive as a max spec for the dual tower version. Sound like it could be as good or better than Noctua NH-D15/D14.

They look really bad. I have a CNPS10x Optima on a FX8350 system in one of the other rooms, and it works fine. In fact, it worked just fine with a 8700K too, up to around 135-145W power drawn. But the design is really lame.
