PowerStrip. Try a different refresh rate like 60hz.
Thanks for the suggestion, ill give powerstrip a try. Will these settings still stick when the trial runs out ? (im not gonna pay US$29.95. for the licence). I did already try 60hz btw, but it gave me a blue screen. (no signal)

It's not a trial version, your settings will stick. Does it show the desktop? If it doesn't show video you may need to deinterlace it....idk just a thought. Video is not really my area lol

I tried it just now, but it does exactly the same as the CRU program, meaning changing custom resolutions. It doesnt mess with the default resolutions.

Well 2560x1440 works without deinterlacing

Dunno, I would google the monitor model and res you're trying tpo use and see what comes up. Maybe it's a problem with the monitor? Why are you down sampling anyway? It's a lot easier and less hassle to use FSAA......

Like i said before, im using this on my TV. lol i can only use FSAA in games, but im trying to use this for desktop resolution and movies. i can hardly read 2560x1440 lol Im trying to get 1080@60hz which normally isnt available. I dont agree with FSAA being easier then downsampling for games btw, resolutions have a far higher compatibility then AA in games. which often needs aa bits, and some games it doesnt work at all. Downsampling is awesome! its just that something in the drivers is blocking me to select this resolution and Hz setting. and i cant delete the native res.
