If nothing else, a mobile phone company would have a lot of experience of optimising battery capacity and use.

They make almost everything electric , bikes , tvs , headphones , auto swiper mops , displays and more πŸ˜› not just phones πŸ˜› and admittedly there is a lot of copy paste involved πŸ˜›

Yup, you'd be surprised at how much stuff they make. I have one of the eScooters and it's actually a really well built bit of kit. (they also own Segway)

So the chinese tech giant that is master of theft is gonna make a shitty EV? This is hilarious. Xiamoi is terrible with battery life in phones.

And my Mi9 had it's battery blow up like a balloon within half a year of being bought. Granted it didn't catch fire so it could have been worse. My point is, anecdotes cut both ways.

Hah no, mi10t pro lasts much longer than previous Samsungs I've owned.

I had that happen with a Samsung S4 Neo, but it's the only one that had that problem. That doesn't mean I'll think it's a normal problem with Samsung phones

So did my optimus prime one(lg) back in the day , thankfully it was so back in the day the you could pop it open and change the battery still ! Point is lithium batteries can be defective and normally is a small batch or few cases they might suffer catastrophic failure. Meanwhile having good battery life is spread wide across every smartphone of the same model. So nope your example is not the same at all . And if the problem is really wide spread it makes headlines like the legendary galaxy note 7!

Hehe in those distances a car or even a motorcycle makes no sense in comparison to a bike/ebike/ escooter ! And if anything in big towns a 10 min trip to work like that can be a thing you look forward too especially if on your area often there is a traffic jam. edit : fixed the quote :P

what's wrong with roads anyway? other than you love sidewalks and being a menace to society 😱

if they are like xiaomi phones, they will lose half of multimedia features in less than 1 year, steering in 2 years and break the 3rd year.

Why not have another player in this space? Xiaomi have more experience with e-vehicles than many others. EV's are missing a smart car/city friendly sized vehicle that won't break the bank. They may be the ones for it.

I have a set of bone inducing headphones so I can groove along yet still hear ambient sound. The airbuds I used when I walked were too insulating on the scooter Review: AfterShokz Aeropex | Finally Good Enough? - Headphonesty

The point was that anecdotes are pointless. But I guess fanboys can't be reasoned with.

Fanboy to xaomi ? Lol i literally have no preference on phone brand when and if my phone breaks down i will for my research and buy again the best bang for my buck .... Btw you can also go a bit earlier on the post and see me saying that xaomi does a lot of copy paste .... Which is i guess textbook fanboy talk?

Hey, you're the one using positive anecdotes about battery life, one of the most variable properties of a phone, as a valid statement, yet negative anecdotes about battery life are obviously irrelevant. So I don't care why you're doing it, just that you're doing it.
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
One of the reasons I switched to Xiaomi's is the battery life excellent.
