I think it looks great just that logo in the backplate is little off. Btw, nice review, good card.

I'm so glad they've stopped that stupid meme branding they used on their previous "large" cards....

Undying:

I agree. I love the look of the fans but the Merc writing on the backplate is terrible.

Good, let it flow. 🙂 Ffs its a RX 6800XT,throw it into Pcie x16 slot and Game ON.Its not Fashion Tv here,if its single card available then Do and Buy It.Verdamt If you not like that backplate then get a marker, get a sticker with rainbow logo, but Game On. /s

another review hit out of the park HH. i'm not a fan of the triple (or 2.7) slot design, but hey. this is an awesome card, and the aib premium still has it less than an aib 3080

Looks great. Hilbert is there an error on page 4 for all of the 6800XT reviews? The 6900XT is listed with 125 ROPS vs 128 ROPS for 6800XT? Lastly, when you have time, maybe next week, can you update the graphs to show all the different 6800XTs together for each game? I have to open multiple browser windows to compare them. Agree with your conclusion on price. Unless the PCB has significant engineering, I have no idea why we would pay so much more for an air cooler.

So it is basically the same as the Sapphire Nitro+ in nearly everything (performance, temps, power consumption) while being a bit more silent and costs $20 less. IMO, in previous generations, Nitro+ was the best pick out of the top-tier AMD cooling solutions, but with the price premium without offering more (in terms of lower temps, extra performance, cooler running card) this time, I would definitely take the XFX out of the 4 reviewed 6800 XT AIB models (ASUS water, Nitro+, Red Devil). However, on the lower end, I expect that the Pulse will be the best.

One thing I'd like to see in 3d-card reviews is an explanation for "custom PCB." It would be nice to see an explanation of what's different from reference--resistors, capacitors, circuits...? Things like "triple bioses"--I saw that somewhere in one review--can't recall where....
