Folks won't care, they'll still buy it, I bet if Microsoft came out and said game's won't be playable till a patch in January they'd still buy the thing.

I really doubt this will even matter. As long as games work after the zero day update, all will be fine .. of course XBL has to be able to support the load of thousands of people concurrently downloading a 1.4GB update and then validating their consoles :P That's more important.

Srsly who cares about the 3D? I doubt that many people even have a 3D capable TV.

I'm pretty sure MS wants to push their download movie service.

"What they call 3D now is technically 4D, the fourth dimension is time, without time you are watching a 3D photo." Thats the stupidest thing that I have read in a long time. From that logic I must be a wizard if I can bend time. (forward, backward or stop the video)

PS4 won't play them either.

If something has height, width and depth, its 3 dimensional, that is a 3D picture. If it has a time aspect, i.e. a 3D movie, its technically 4 dimensions.
Did you do Physics at school? If not a quick wikipedia search will tell you that time is generally considered the 4th dimension:
"In modern physics, space and time are unified in a four-dimensional Minkowski continuum called spacetime"

There is no time element - as all you are seeing is single pictures or frames which combine to make the video/movies so movies themselves are not 4D - 4D in moves is when they add a sensory element. They could add smell or touch(feel)
and It has been confirmed that PS4 won't play 3D Movies at launch, but with no information when or if they will patch it in at a later date. Though technically PS4 can play 3D Games at launch, but there are no games 3D compatible at launch. source: The Laughing Ma

As for the Xbone not playing 3D movies, I am in the 'who cares chair' I am not buying an Xbone and have no intention of using any aspect of the current 3D tech irrespective of which console, if any, I buy.
An idea that is being actively debunked by modern physics.
