True, seems a little high for system that spies on you and your family... And the fact that the kinect sensor can monitor your heart rate scares the hell out of me.

The games I'm looking at are killer instinct, mgs, forza 5, witcher 3, darksouls 2, bf4... no im not a halo fan lol... there are a lot of other futuristic looking games as well.

It could cost 50$ and I still would not buy it, MS would have to pay me to buy one of there consoles ever again 3+ 360 RROD yet I still own and use my original PS3 there 360 sealed there fate with me ever buying hardware from them again, And that was after the fact that I hated there hardware to being with.

I'm not a console gamer, but i think it's a fair price. Something i wouldn't like is the Big Brother mode.

It will cost over £500 in the UK with VAT. PC gaming is now officially cheaper(ish). The below costs £482. Not sure what he was trying to prove, but anyone with an existing PC can buy himself a GTX 670/770 as an upgrade for $399 and have a gaming rig for 2-3 years with the capability to do thousands of things (internet, word processing etc.) at the same time. I do not see a justification to buy a console for $500. While a PC can do that for you and MORE.

Proving that consoles are now priced more or less the same as a good spec PC is. It was an example I quickly took from a website to compare prices. You could source the parts cheaper if you built it yourself.

Looks like all those people who were saying that the new consoles will cripple PC gaming are taking their words back 🙂 499$/Eur, £429 is a horrendous price for a console. Plus they still haven't addressed the whole DRM/always online issue/question. All we need to wait for now is PS4's pricing/games.... GO GO PC GAMING 🙂 (i'm even happier with my GTX 780 purchase atm )
