There will always be issues with anything new. I would imagine a wide open area like that did not help. (Yes, he had a microphone on but I do not think that would have been the Kinect Microphone. Could be wrong though.) It will be cool when we get to Back to the Future Part 2 level of interaction.

In the time it takes to say those phrases (sometimes more than once) I would of already clicked on about ten different things on my PC or even navigated better my self on the console with the damn controller! Whilst also not annoying the people around me.
Oh, and if it fails to read commands sometimes like it did in the video what if it fails to recognize the persons voice. So If I am playing a game and my friend wants to be a jerk and says "Xbox Go Home" and the Xbox thinks its me...
It's just bad, very very bad. Sad though because the mass market will lap this up like they do with Apple products.

The problem with voice control is that many feel stupid doing it.
It's alot faster for me for me to search on my phone by using the voice search, but if i'm with someone then i can't do it as i will annoy them, if i'm outside i look silly, and even on my own you feel daft for doing it.
I don't think it will be any different with this, but Google are spending alot of time and money with 4.4 KitKat so i might be wrong about the Xbox and people will love this feature.
It could be handy for music and movie playback if you have a very large collection, for gaming i think we will be back to the annoying other people issues.
Can't see the wife being too chuffed with me shouting at the TV at 2am in the morning.

At least I would go a bit crazy after hour or two saying: Xbox this...Xbox that... ...maybe my wife, kids and pets around me would also gone crazy listening me saying that Xbox this/that stupidity. I like to use HiTech things like this in quiet: play, watch, enjoy and keep my mouth shut, OK maybe from time to time I could feakout for seccond or two because some guy just killed me in some mp match but nothing more than that would come out from my mouth while gaming, watching TV, films, using internet...
Some thing like voice commands still can't be better, faster and more reliable than manual commands performed by hands/fingers... and I guess it's healthier and easier for brain if you don't bother your brain cells with such an non-important tasks that could be done faster and more confortable with fingers/hands.
