Just let the Xbox 360 die already.

hmm, seems like a great time to pick up a last gen console and play some of the exclusives i missed out on. Also wouldnt mind one for being able to download the digital versions of the original xbox games. While i already have an original xbox, the av cables dont quite match up to hdmi standards. Burnout 3 is damn near impossible to play on an LCD and as i have no CRT - i - cant - get - my... satisfaction.....satisfaction.
cant get that song out of my head.

^^The bigger HDD won't make any difference to original games, they only run from the disc, get that xbox modded, install a bigger HDD, and buy a hd cable for the xbox, then you can install original games right onto he HDD, and even with the games that do not support 720/1080i, you will see a good derrerence in picture quality via the HD cable.

I don't know why MS is doing this. While I think it is good concept but I don't see the reasoning for it at this point. Maybe if they did it 2-3 years ago it would have made sense then.

Actual cable no, the most you can hope for is an RGB to HDMI converter box, or modding your xbox with an HDMI daughter board.

Even then, transfer rates are not very high on converter boxes.

They should have dropped this console and support for it at least 4 years ago.

Thank you for the heads up. 😀 I just picked up an external 2.5 inch 1TB drive which I hope works with it. I have been on the preview program but did not realize that the external drive support had been updated. That and I am steadily filling up my 250GB internal drive.
