L4D has large onslaught too. Fast zombies too. But I guess they will have better soundtrack than L4D.

This game has more to it than the OTWD turd that was dropped on E3 after 4 years of development (which makes it StarBreeze 2nd PD2 reskin)...

This is exactly why we need a Left 4 Dead III - It would be this and so much more.

So much ammo wasted... 🙄
The 3rd person view is a nonsense with this kind of games. It's clearly designed for consoles and gamepads, with dumb kids in mind.
L4D stays the king. Whenever Valve will publish the sequel will be a terrific success.

One more zombiephobic comment and I'm pressing the report button! 😡

Boring. It's got nothing with being "zombiephobic"...

LFD clone/ripoff. I got bored watching the video let alone play the game. It's such a ripoff of LFD that you can't even make your own characters and change their appearance. Yawn and pass, LFD been there played that. NEXT !!!!

Looks ok. I want a sequel to the movie more though. The airplane part of the movie is still one my favourites of all zombie films. Even better after a smoke.
Elder III
I agree on wanting the movie sequel. It's one of the few zombie movies that I really liked. 🙂

What annoys me about these type of games is that you really do need 4 players. I get it it's a co-op game but the genre has been done to death. Of course people are going to say it's a LFD clone. What game these days isn't a clone/copy of other similar titles? Innovation still lacking in the gaming market. Innovate ffs getting bored shitless of the same old same old.

They're right about one thong at least. The book was way better than the movie.

Wow - if I saw that video out of any context, I would have said they added a third-person mod to L4D. I wouldn't say no to another zombie horde game, especially if there's a single-player campaign (and it's first-person, so this is out for me).
Did anyone else read the World War Z book? The movie almost used it only by name; there's otherwise very few if anything in the movie that was in the book (zombies aren't fast, just insanely contagious, and, literally, only a headshot will drop one).
Without getting in to spoilers (other than the apocalypse will eventually end), the story takes place shortly after we have re-taken the remains of the world. It's told by a person who is trying to collect stories of events to archive/describe what happened over the years of the apocalypse (since civilization is pretty destroyed and it's very likely to be forgotten). The story is told by recounting events from different parts of the world as they experienced the apocalypse during different stages via interviewing different survivors. There's a plot, but it's told through these many different viewpoints chronologically.
The vexing part is that the book almost verbatim would have made a great movie... they don't need to be fast, aggressive, or even creepy; they just need to be relentless, and watching the world (through the lenses of a lot of different cultures) try to run/fight/whatever over the years of the occupation makes it that much more interesting. It's such a waste of a good story, especially now that it's been "done".
That said, the original story might lend itself to a pretty good survival horror game, but as much as the movie was more a spin on "28 Days Later", this game appears to be a spin on "Left 4 Dead".

Well, I guess they prioritize making Brad Pitt look good in the movie... 😛
