I have built a lot of computers and I have yet to have a processor go bad....? did you bend your pins or something?....has anyone here had a processor go bad? sry if OT again.

punched the power button by accident one time while i was retimming an athlon xp 2000...... you can guess how that went.

You are right--spring, fall, for consumers--been in the Fast Ring (Insider's) too many years where it's been ~2 new builds a week....! Dropped back to the slow ring--much better at ~1 build a month...;)
