It's a network *fabric*, so you obviously should be ordering it by the linear meter off the bolt.

I wonder why nobody is interested in 6e? Could it be that it came out right after 6, and has the same name so most people have no idea that there's a difference between the two other than one costs twice as much? Standards groups should really hire some PR people.

I think it's that for sure AND the naming structure. "6" vs "6E" makes me think that 6E was just an enhancement of 6 whereas the reality was there was a huge leap between the 2. But the name does not really indicate that.

6GHz isn't available in a lot of countries

I'm surprised that in a tech savvy page so many people don't know that 6E is 6 wave 2 with support for 6 GHz. Heck, I'm even having doubts whether people know about Wifi 6 wave 1 vs wave 2... Anyways... probably 6E doesn't make that much sense taking into consideration that 7 is so close by and it'll bring a big potential speed increase vs 6/6E. Going from 5 to 6 was not about brute speed, it was more about network resilience and noise/collision reduction, but 6/6E to 7 will be about brute speed again (which people like).
