intersting, so $299 for 1tb... is like $0.3/1gb though it need more detail what controller and nand they using and the warranty only 3 years for ssd ? nowdays most SSD maker giving 5years heck, even they caviar black hdd 5years... why not giving 5years as ssd should easily life much longer than that ?

Controller used according to Anandtech Marvell 88SS1074 and NAND is used SanDisk 15nm TLC,this spec apply to WD Blue Endurance is not bad 250GB(100 TB),500GB(200 TB),1000GB(400 TB) Hope this helps Thanks,Jura

Sandisk X400 is essentially the same drive, with a little more reserved for wear leveling, and has a 5 year warranty. And, as of the typing of this comment, it's about 10% cheaper.

@slyphnier since most +3y drives start to lose data from dying chips (rather than wear), i dont really care anymore if its more than 3y, but rather something like ocz shield to replace the drive without sending old one in first.
