So far qlc models do not offer higher capacities than tlc ...the performance is lower , they are not really cheaper than tlc models not really .... So why would anyone get anything with qlc ?

To give more profits to the manufacturer, of course ! My guess is they are all testing the waters to see if they can produce only QLC based SSDs, and forget that TLC exists... average John B Consumer won't even know the difference anyway.

Yeah crucial are doing this thing of high prices at the mo. But there is usually a voucher discount bringing it down to a more normal price. So make sure your discount apps are in place to find the good deal. Otherwise crucial will be laughing all the way to the bank. 😉
