Nvidia can keep its crap and piss off. EVGA thing made me jump ship. Next card will be AMD.

Can't wait to watch Jenson live... EDIT: since I got here my thoughts on keynote about 40x0 announcement... 4090 definitely looks amazing specs wise... but I can't help but feeling this inserting fake frames in between each rendered frame is kind of cheating, and just makes the reported frame-rate double what is really is. So this means now we have a pseudo fake framerate and fake resolution upscale. I don't know, maybe won't look too bad. We shall see. Price is crazy though... will be over 2K in EURO in Europe. Don't like the OEM styling of those cards at all... much prefer third party card styles.

Bit extreme, but from what I can see EVGA is NVidia over there in USA to a lot of people from what I could always see in the videos/pictures of PC shops over there... shelves stuffed with nothing but EVGA. No wonder a lot of Americans default to this brand and have no experience of other brands. In Europe EVGA non existent for many years... I only ever bought high end Gigabyte myself - no problems so far with them.

Not exactly true. Americans have a thing called the internet and are exposed to the collective aib gpu's available. EVGA does have a good reputation here, and their products will be missed. However, there are plenty of other choices to fill their void. From what I can gather NVIDIA either priced the 4000 series so low that it just didn't make economic sense for EVGA to continue with them, or NVIDIA enacted some new draconian rule for EVGA that finally broke the camel's back for their association with them.

I'm sure they will be fast and everything, but the moment they show the prices I really hope the entire world shouts a BOOOOOOO so loud that it beats Krakatoa in decibel numbers.

This is for rich people only !!! my next card will be AMD fk Nvidia (prices are insane, drivers becomes very bugged sometimes, and visually no difference between AMD/Nvidia) even with cuda/rt etc.. and other bullshit, plus they push their cards too much, so don't think your card will last 4/5 years now the Nvidia cards last only 2/3 years due to bad components and drivers.

In before it s 2x fast in raytraced areas only.

Base 4080 with less ram is 200 USD more expensive than 3080 when it came out. WOW! RTX4060 500USD then? I'd rather buy a console at this point...

That's a "70" class card simply renamed, and EVEN MORE expensive than last gen x70 during a mining boom. nvidia is drunk with greed and intoxicated with delusions of grandour

Hold up everyone was saying they were going to be $3000 USD for a 4090... Only $1600 USD for a 4090 and all these derps saying it was going to be $3000 USD.

Not forgetting that games follow the current console market, with slight upgrade for PC market. The current consoles graphic output is that of a 3060. No games will need a 4080+ power for at least another 4 years.
