DLSS3...hell yeah
You will need a 40 series GPU to properly use DLSS 3.0 though it contains new hardware for it.

The uplift in stuff looks good, dlss, etc.. the pricing is kind of nutty though. Should be like $650/850 for the 4080 variants. 4090 is probably fine as it's a massive chip on a relatively new node but yeah the 4080 is just too high. Skipping for now as I barely play any RT games and that seems to be where the biggest increase is.

Hold up everyone was saying they were going to be $3000 USD for a 4090... Only $1600 USD for a 4090 and all these derps saying it was going to be $3000 USD.
you said it's going to be 40% faster max for 2000. it's 2x for 1600. must feel stupid .

Really impressive stuff! I like what I am seeing. unfortunately the price is sky high (and will be even higher in โ‚ฌ and in stores). That modding tool seems really awesome, I can see lots of packs coming out! Also that racerX looked insanely good OMG

no it's the same hardware, same as dlss 2.0 runs the same on turing vs ampere even though ampere tensor cores are the new version.

Prices for miners. The tech is interesting, but at this price, it's a no go. No wonder nvidia disabled comments on their stream. Really wonder if DLSS3 will be a forced exclusive for RTX 4000.

No one I heard said anything close to $3k I heard rumours of $1.8K which isn't too far off. W Either way its not the 4090 that is priced crazy we know that was going to be near or above $1.5k but the 4080 at $1200 is just complete NUTS!

4080 is very disappointing,the price that is.frankly 4090 is a way better proposition.

From the press release:
DLSS 3: The Performance Multiplier, Powered by AI The combination of ray tracing and AI technologies has revolutionized video games by simultaneously delivering dramatic improvements in image quality along with massive uplifts in performance โ€” a feat unheard of before GeForce RTX. Powered by new fourth-generation Tensor Cores and a new Optical Flow Accelerator on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, DLSS 3 is the latest iteration of the companyโ€™s critically acclaimed Deep Learning Super Sampling technology and introduces a new capability called Optical Multi Frame Generation. Optical Multi Frame Generation generates entirely new frames, rather than just pixels, delivering astounding performance boosts. The new Optical Flow Accelerator incorporated into the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture analyzes two sequential in-game images and calculates motion vector data for objects and elements that appear in the frame, but are not modeled by traditional game engine motion vectors. This dramatically reduces visual anomalies when AI renders elements such as particles, reflections, shadows and lighting. Pairs of super-resolution frames from the game, along with both engine and optical flow motion vectors, are then fed into a convolutional neural network that analyzes the data and automatically generates an additional frame for each game-rendered frame โ€” a first for real-time game rendering. Combining the DLSS-generated frames with the DLSS super-resolution frames enables DLSS 3 to reconstruct seven-eighths of the displayed pixels with AI, boosting frame rates by up to 4x compared to without DLSS. Because DLSS Frame Generation executes as a post-process on the GPU, it can boost frame rates even when the game is bottlenecked by the CPU. For CPU-limited games, such as those that are physics heavy or involve large worlds, DLSS 3 allows the GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs to render the game at up to twice the frame rate that the CPU is able to compute the game. DLSS 3 integrations also incorporate NVIDIA Reflex, which synchronizes the GPU and CPU, ensuring optimum responsiveness and low system latency.
I mean it doesn't say it doesn't run on previous gen but the way it's worded definitely makes it sound like it's going to require ADA.

See how it is in games from reviews, just because they said so... don't mean shit, and the footage they showed. WOOOW 1 road in Cyberpunk. What he is talking about we don't really care about. I will wait for the "real" reviews and see what real percent games get.

that's what they're selling here. I wouldn't think they'd mention ampere.

Gotta get the cost of 16gig... 3080 only had crappy 10 and 12 gig.

Thank much you for watch!! ๐Ÿ˜€ <3 I will buy 1st DP-VGA adapter (due to my CRT monitor) and then a new Zotac GF RTX 4090 in next month or in november and I'll stay this during ~7 years because we remember GTX 980 Ti still is satisfied from 2015 games to the (almost) all modern games! ๐Ÿ˜€ But unfortunately I will miss Win 7 due to the lack of GF driver for RTX 40. ๐Ÿ™

Seriously, I want some of what Jensen is smoking... 3070 -> 4070 (excuse me, x80 12G) ... $500 -> $900 3080 -> 4080 ... $800 -> $1200 ... after the biggest mining crash ever ??
