You will need a 40 series GPU to properly use DLSS 3.0 though it contains new hardware for it.

The uplift in stuff looks good, dlss, etc.. the pricing is kind of nutty though. Should be like $650/850 for the 4080 variants. 4090 is probably fine as it's a massive chip on a relatively new node but yeah the 4080 is just too high. Skipping for now as I barely play any RT games and that seems to be where the biggest increase is.

From the press release: I mean it doesn't say it doesn't run on previous gen but the way it's worded definitely makes it sound like it's going to require ADA.

No one I heard said anything close to $3k I heard rumours of $1.8K which isn't too far off. W Either way its not the 4090 that is priced crazy we know that was going to be near or above $1.5k but the 4080 at $1200 is just complete NUTS!
