Is it year 2000 coming back?

I haven't watched the TV series, but I heard it's good. The Walking Dead adventure game by Telltale is great. This one... doesn't look interesting at all, like L4D minus teamwork, fun and animation. Plus weapon/camera bobbing/movements looks so 90's, except that now (patially) due to consoles low resolution the FOV is limited to like 70 degrees.

It does look VERY dated. I guess it could be a alpha build without any real effects "polish" on it, nonetheless I don't see anything "exciting" here. Well I guess except for the rather recognizable likeness of Michael Rooker(Merle)BUT if they didn't get him for the voice acting they might as well scrap it. You just can't mistake his voice and to try to copy it would just be laughable... I mean he did play a decent role in the latest CoD so he is already on Activision's "payroll" so we shall see...

Looks like, L4D is still the best zombie co-op shooter for time being.

Graphics aside, the whole thing looks terrible. Not dated, terrible. This is more of an insult to fans of the series. edit I actually want to play it just to see how bad it is.

I dont know why, and its not for lack of trying, anything with zombies, ANYTHING, even L4D, just does not do it for me. Not only zombies, but any game with hordes of mindless enemies in waves of onslaughts just feels like a violation of my sensibilities and an insult to my intelligence. I like games where I can step back and breathe when I want, not games where I am frantically hammering away at the keyboard and mouse and where reaction time mostly determines the winner. I know I am in a minority with such views, and frankly I envy those who can get into these games, as they have a wider selection of games to enjoy than I do.
