The best display for me? 21-22 inches, 1920x1080 or 2560x1440, not TN, it can be any variation of IPS or AMVA but not TN, display port, and freesync, all this priced somewhere around 300usd. That's why i will buy samsung S24E370DL, it is not perfect but the closest to my preferences, even if a bit too big. Once monitor arrives (about april 11th) i will post on forums here some info about it.

A constant stream of the same crap. Minimum specs I'd like to see on monitors is 1080p from 24 inch and down, 1440p for 27 inch and up, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 75hz refresh. Resolution to size is there but sometimes they stretch 1080p onto larger screens. The contrast ratio has been sucking for a long time and what's worse is that the typical 1000:1 is the peak between a certain 2 shades and the rest of the spectrum will be 700:1 or worse. Then we have refresh rates that won't leave the damn stone age. 60hz is annoying to me and not even in gaming perspective, I see it in fluorescent lights and some leds. I luckily don't suffer from seizures but it is irritating and can bug my eyes or slight headache. *End rant*

this is the same spec for the 24" version so it's 75Hz not 60 I have the 24" version sitting on the desktop it's at 75Hz and with freesync enabled during gaming it will vary from 47Hz to 75Hz
