Was watching this earlier. Really really cool to see how passionate they are for this game. Good to see them growing as a company. This game has me pumped so much. I will be sporting a new GPU for it.

Metro series has always captured and, more importantly, maintained my interest so much so that I'd finish the game. You'd be surprised at the number of games that I'd started playing, only to give up the games after an hour to two into the game, I'd simply lose interest. So, it's a sure thing that I'd get this game and support the developer.

I am hyped for the game but with these specs, the delay, and the implementation of stupid RTX bullcrap I am getting VERY worried in deed.

Bah, Extreme has Ray Tracing I believe, so it's meh at best. Most of us (including yours truly) would be playing the game at High setting and below, which is good enough for me. Looking at the product page on Steam, it does state 'Intel Core iX-XXX or equivalent' , so I guess we can take that for what it is.

Yep, that is exactly what I'm thinking. Once i see the reviews, i will buy a card in the lead up to this game. Would really like to enjoy it with fairly high settings.

Don't mind you asking at all. I'll wait for the Radeon 7 launch and check out Hilberts review and then make my mind up. If it is good as I'm hoping, then that will be my new card. That's as long as we get them in this part of the world. I might also grab a new 144hz Freesync 2 HDR monitor to go with it.

Truly NVidia's education on ray tracing has failed when people are saying it's bullcrap.

luckily you can turn it off in the settings. Whilst it isn't the bees knees now, I have no doubt that is is the future of lighting effects in years to come.

I already have one in the Samsung LC49HG90DME, pretty damn awesome 32:9 monitor, but res of 3840x1080 isn't for everyone. Of course not long after I'd gotten this, I hear that LG has just released (or about to release) the 1440P version version of this 32:9 monitor.:(
