Why does everyone have to be so judgemental? I use TV's as monitors, works for me. I dont claim its the pinnacle of user experience either, it has its drawbacks for sure. And, yeah, i got spoiled by 120hz, cant go back now and more resolution is always better when you deal with big screens. At 65" 8k is around 135 DPI which is just right imo.
