Hmm it would be cool to connect a laptop via a single cable to get charging, monitor output and USB connectivity at the same time. I think I'll wait with my computer upgrade until USB 3.1 C mobos are out.

True. Also, imho, they should make it easier to connect two computers via a simple USB cable. It was possible back in the days, but if the cable would support it, one could have another identical cable to produce / use, and therefore save money if everything would be done by USB, including power charging, graphics output, data transfer, and networking.

Those cables were done via dual-ended virtual ethernet 100 ports. I'm sure you can do the same thing with USB 3.x.
