Honestly Epic as a games studio is pretty terrible lately. Fornite & Paragon are both terrible games. Obviously engine wise they still rock.

But we are not going by todays standards. The game was awesome back in the day. When the "oh look ****ty graphics" kids were still in diapers.
Game kicked ass back then and still does. "Looked boring" ? Really? When I was 24 this game was played by everyone. And back then it wasn't every freaking week a new game was published with shiny **** remake just to sell something. The game is a landmark. Don't spew your ignorance. It only makes you look stupid.
Boring is so far from what this game was/is. As much as I hate to say get off my lawn, but really? Boring? :bang:

Dude. both me and Tj were talking about the UE4 version being lackluster. The original was fantastic, and I remember actually watching it back then. That I couldn't afford a rig that could run it for some years is another story.

The UE4 version sure looks comparatively much worse. That intro of the first Unreal, with a 3DFX card, was almost impossible to comprehend. Keep in mind that the best graphics around at the time was the pixelfest PS1.

I had a similar rig but for a slot A Thunderbird 700mhz & a pair of diamond monster 2 cards man it ran games good 🙂 .

Comparatively, as in if you take in consideration what we had then, and what we have now. That visuals were holy **** ballz and to have 3DfX Voodoo2 SLI was an insane experience. Now compared to other graphics these days, the UE4 video looks really underwhelming (and I'm sure it can do more).
