Well, can't be a bad thing.
But it clearly shows how artificial (read: with evil intention by those who limit it) the lack of software features actually is.

Not surprised. Makes the chipset that much more appealing to me though; I'm not particularly interested in overclocking anymore but PBO is nice.

As long as it doesn't harm AMD`s product and it meets and/or exceeds the requirements of the standard given, then i don`t see the problem. I hope AMD allso sees this logic and that they don`t steal features from a product that their consumers have bought.

Seems like AMD is being sneaky with these A620 boards. They are a "little" more capabilbe than the should be. Maybe a little relief from over price B and X boards.

Usually the point of the low end chipsets from AMD is to be able to sell cheap motherboards and move more CPU inventory. I doubt AMD cares, but they are going to be more expensive because they will need things like larger BIOS chips to fit the extra function code. A320 boards had features when the Ryzen 1xxx chips came out that they lost if you wanted to run a 2xxx or 3xxx chip on them later because they didn't have enough space in the NVRAM to do everything, so you will likely be sacrificing upgradability here too.

Yeah boy. For what its worth. But hey, I will take 200Mhz any day of the week over and above the norm. 🙂
What ever happened to the overclocking monster like the Opteron 939 was it? 🙂
Ah, no, I think 939 was the socket. Doh!. 🙂
Such a long time ago. 🙂
